The first-ever cruise control for the 2021-2023 Yamaha MT-09 base model! This system plugs into the existing connectors on your motorcycle and gives you full cruise control functionality so you can relax a bit in between your hooliganism! Totally sleek, sleeper design leaves almost no trace that it is even installed. Simply use the menu scroll wheel to set your desired speed, and let go of the throttle as this system takes over speed management for you. The magic is in how this unit works in parallel with the motorcycle's throttle-by-wire system (YCC-T) to command the throttle and maintain your desired speed. Adjust the speed setpoint by spinning the menu wheel up/down. Can be installed in less than 30 minutes.

Very happy with this purchase. One of my only complaints about my MT09 was the lack of cruise control as I do quite a bit of touring and my wrist does get sore after a while. I installed this and the following weekend I did a 950km ride in 1 day. It works exactly as advertised and it was so nice to give my wrist a break while on the highway and longer runs. I don’t want to leave a 5 star review without a couple of minor “complaints” to point out which were both are addressed. First, this is likely more a me problem than anything but I did struggle with the install. Not the connections or anything, that is all very simple, but I had a hard time getting everything packed in behind the headlight. However, I sent Tom an email and he helped clarify a couple things and gave me the advice I needed. This was all on a holiday Friday evening and Saturday morning, not a random weekday which I think is worth mentioning in terms of customer service. Secondly, this is more a heads up than a complaint but that scroll wheel can be a bit of a stretch for the thumb if your hand isn’t in the right spot, it does get easier once you’ve used it enough. Lastly, this is addressed in the instructions but I am always in drive mode 1 where the instructions recommend trying drive mode 3 - 4 at highway speeds. I do find the system jerky when you first engage it at drive mode 1, but it seems to smooth out after 10-15 seconds. I don’t want to imply it’s violent on/off or anything, but I think it’s a combination of the system being engaged and your body getting used the bike maintaining speed. Just wanted to highlight those things for anyone new.
If anyone is on the fence and wanting a cruise control on their MT09 I highly recommend this. I’m very happy Speed Lock developed this system and it’s the best mod I could have added to my bike!

Required zero cutting, install video was spot on, works as described. I was initially skeptical at the price point for a creature comfort, but I would absolutely buy again if I had another mt09.
I had been looking for an option for cruise for awhile and this is exactly what I was looking for. Rode about 200 miles on the blue ridge parkway this past weekend and took the highway back home, giving my hand a break on the way in was a game changer. I appreciate these fellas taking the time to make this possible, works great.
Installed on 2023 MT09, works perfectly
